Recommended Pre-treatment

Some contaminants in water can permanently damage ion exchange resin for water treatment. Iron in the feed water will readily foul the ion exchange resin. Chlorine in the feed water will cause the break down of ion exchange resin.

In the presence of iron or chlorine, an activated carbon filter system is required to extend the life of your ion exchange resin.
